Requirements
- 1+ years of direct patient care experience.
- Exceptional customer service, strong multitasking abilities in fast-paced clinic settings, and proficiency in medical record databases.
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program is a plus, but we welcome all candidates with equivalent, relevant clinical healthcare experience.
- Diverse Backgrounds Welcome: We actively seek candidates with backgrounds as an STNA, Phlebotomist, CNA, or Pharmacy Technician.
Responsibilities
- Lead patient intake by rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, updating medication lists, and processing laboratory specimens.
- Schedule patient procedures and surgeries, coordinate with surgical vendors, and manage physician block times.
- Ensure strict data integrity within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and manage complex insurance prior authorizations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold all OSHA and The Joint Commission (TJC) safety standards.
