About The Position
Bookmark Medical is building a healthcare experience rooted in trust, teamwork, compassion, and continuous progress. Its mission is to improve lives through high-quality continuous care by connecting care teams and providing innovative tools and resources so patients are known and supported. This is a per diem (PRN), clinic-based position providing coverage according to clinic staffing needs and the employee’s availability. Shifts are available Monday through Friday during clinic hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours and shifts may vary based on coverage needs. Clinics are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Requirements
- Accredited medical assistant training or equivalent experience.
- Medical assistant certification.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of healthcare experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and room patients warmly and professionally.
- Take vital signs, update medical histories, and support providers during exams.
- Perform point-of-care testing and administer vaccines under supervision.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR.
- Support patient education, follow-ups, and clear communication.
- Help manage calls, referrals, prior authorizations, and scheduling.
- Keep exam rooms clean and stocked and follow safety guidelines.
