About The Position

Works interdependently with other medical professionals to provide quality health care to patients. Provides direct patient care under the direction of a physician by performing specific services to meet patients’ personal needs and comfort. Understands the needs of the practice and supports its mission and values. Certification must be from one of the following organizations: American Academy of Medical Assistants, American Medical Technologists, American Registry of Medical Assistants, or the National Center for Competency Testing.

Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant credential required; certification must be from the American Academy of Medical Assistants, American Medical Technologists, American Registry of Medical Assistants, or the National Center for Competency Testing.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
