About The Position

Bookmark Medical is hiring a certified Medical Assistant for a full-time, clinic-based role supporting providers and patients. The position contributes to the organization’s mission of improving lives through high-quality continuous care, working as part of connected care teams in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., four 10-hour shifts per week, with a 30-minute lunch break. Clinics are closed on weekends, so there are no Saturday or Sunday shifts. The role includes direct patient care and clinical support, along with administrative tasks such as scheduling, referrals, and prior authorizations. Requirements

Accredited Medical Assistant training or equivalent experience.
Medical Assistant certification, or willingness to obtain certification; certification reimbursement is offered.
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Welcome and room patients warmly and professionally.
Take vital signs, update medical histories, and support providers during examinations.
Perform point-of-care testing and administer vaccines under supervision.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
Support patient education, follow-ups, and clear communication.
Help manage calls, referrals, prior authorizations, and scheduling.
Keep examination rooms clean and stocked, and follow safety guidelines.
