About The Position

Lake Chelan Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for its Cardiology service. The role prepares patients for office visits by obtaining and documenting vital signs and medical history, and provides aid and support to the health care provider. Working as part of the healthcare team, the Medical Assistant acts on delegated tasks, including medication administration, procedure set-up, assistance, and follow-through. The position calls for a conceptual thinker with strong organizational and time management skills. The role is full-time (1.0 FTE).

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program or enrolled in an externship program.
• Active Medical Assistant Interim (IC) or Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C) license through the Washington State Department of Health.
• Maintain active Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
• Demonstrate the Lake Chelan Health values of trust, compassion, respect, and teamwork toward staff, patients, and the public.
• Conceptual thinking, organizational, and time management skills.
