About The Position

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant Certified/Scribe for their Cardiology department at Swedish Hospital. This is a full-time position with a standard Monday to Friday schedule. The role involves direct patient interaction, including greeting patients, documenting vital signs and medical information, and providing front office support. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
• CPR-BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• Medical Assistant Certification (AMT, AAMA, ARMA, CCMA, CMA, MAC, AMCA) required
• One year of work experience required

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.
• Previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred.
• On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
• Perform basic vitals such as blood pressure, height and weight
• Provide front office support as needed
• Phlebotomy and giving injections varies based on the specialty
