About The Position

This role is for a Medical Assistant and Scribe within a Cardiology group at Endeavor Health, located at Swedish Hospital. The position is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The role involves some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
• CPR-BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• One year of work experience required

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.
• Medical Assistant Certification (AMT, AAMA, ARMA, CCMA, CMA, MAC, AMCA) is preferred, but not required.
• previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
• Perform basic vitals such as blood pressure, height and weight
• Provide front office support as needed
• Phlebotomy and giving injections varies based on the specialty
