About The Position
PACT MSO is a Management Service Organization that supports numerous physician groups. We offer health benefits, paid time off, and a friendly working environment. We are a medium sized company with a family atmosphere. PACT MSO has a busy Internal Medicine Group seeking two Medical Administrative Assistants. This position is for our Amity location with possible travel to Derby. The hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm with rotating Saturday mornings. This position supports a department, provider, or manager by performing duties as directed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in an office setting
- Intermediate computer skills including MS Office
- Attention to detail
- Collaboration skills
- Communication proficiency
- Proof of annual flu vaccination is required for all employees.
Responsibilities
- Assist with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, follow up, etc.
- Responsible for schedule utilization, cancelation and wait list management
- Coordinates tests, procedures, and lab appointments for patients
- Provide patients with information and respond to patient inquiries
- Schedule and coordinate meetings
- Assist with all patient portal questions
- Attend meetings as required by management
- Communicate information appropriately, accurately, and timely
- Create and maintain reports and distributes to appropriate staff and management
- Identify and communicate inconsistencies of information in reports to appropriate staff
