Mediation Specialist II
About The Position
The Mediation Specialist will manage key metrics related to servicing litigation, which includes, but may not be limited to, the following teams: Contested Matters, Title Matters, and Mediation; department performance; implementation of department strategies/procedures; and responding to inquiries related to customers/vendors/investors/regulatory agencies. As the Mediation Specialist, you will interface with other divisions in servicing to ensure upstream/downstream processes are appropriate. The Mediation Specialist will: Attend Court-appointed mediations by telephone or virtual appearance to support operational success Support the servicing of mortgage loans Support business leaders to identify/support processes at the operational level Perform other related duties as required and assigned Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- An in-depth understanding of state-by-state foreclosure rules, and the ability to attend Court-appointed mediations by telephone or virtual appearance
- Understanding of GSE/insurer servicing guidelines
- Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word

- Prior mediation experience
