Harvard Media is looking for an energetic and ambitious Media Sales Coordinator/Junior Account Executive to join our Fort McMurray team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is interested in marketing, media, sales, and business development. Working alongside an experienced team, you’ll learn how to help local businesses grow through radio advertising, digital interactive solutions, promotions, and community partnerships.

  • Team player who enjoys collaborating with others.
  • Customer service, retail, hospitality, marketing, or sales experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Nice To Haves

  • Post secondary education in Business, marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is considered an asset but not required.
  • Experience creating content in Canva or similar design programs is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Connect with local businesses through phone calls, email, social media, virtual meetings, and in-person visits.
  • Build relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Learn to identify business challenges and recommend marketing solutions.
  • Assist in creating presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.
  • Support accounts with customer service and campaign execution.
  • Use Canva and other creative tools to help bring marketing ideas to life.
  • Maintain accurate customer information and activity within our CRM system.
  • Represent Harvard Media at community events, client meetings, and station promotions.
  • Help ensure campaigns are delivered successfully and customers receive outstanding service.
  • Participate in ongoing sales and professional development training.
  • Assist market Lead with team initiatives.
