About The Position
Gray Media (KOLD 13 NEWS) is seeking a Media Executive to solicit new advertisers with a consultative sales approach. The candidate will be expected to hunt, close, and develop new business and build a new client base. The perfect candidate will work with new businesses to increase their business and realize a positive ROI on their marketing and advertising investment. Candidate must have a track record of successful business development and the ability to provide digital and broadcast solutions across multiple platforms. Candidate must also demonstrate a thorough track record of successful business development and the ability to provide digital broadcast solutions across multiple platforms. This is a new business development role and does not have an established book of business. Those with a hunter mentality and work ethic will succeed in this role.
Requirements
- Excellent telephone, email, and verbal communication and problem-solving skills
- Enthusiasm, work initiative, and strong organizational and computer skills
- Accuracy and ability to interact with clients in a professional manner
- Database and industry software experience required
- Digital Sales and proven Sales experience required
- Strong computer skills, math aptitude, creativity, and understanding of the sales process
