About The Position

Homewood is seeking a Media Coordinator to join the Resort Marketing Department. The Media Coordinator is a hands-on visual storytelling role responsible for planning, capturing, editing, organizing, and distributing photo and video content that brings the Homewood Mountain & Lake Club experience to life. Working closely with the Resort Marketing Manager, Communications Coordinator, and Content Creator, this position helps document mountain conditions, skiing and riding, events, guest experiences, community moments, and resort operations in a timely and authentic way. Success in this role comes from strong creative instincts, technical capability, organization, and the ability to work comfortably in an active mountain environment. The ideal candidate is an advanced skier or snowboarder who can move efficiently through the resort while carrying production equipment and can balance planned campaigns with real-time storytelling needs.

Requirements

  • Strong photography and videography skills with experience creating outdoor, action, lifestyle, hospitality, or resort content.
  • Proficiency with mirrorless cameras, action cameras, gimbals, drones, and related production equipment.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications; experience with DaVinci Resolve or similar editing software preferred.
  • Strong file-management habits and attention to detail when organizing and tracking media assets.
  • Ability to manage projects independently while collaborating effectively within a small, fast-moving marketing team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with guests, community members, media partners, and team members.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, social media scheduling tools, Canva or similar design tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced ski or snowboard ability with the ability to safely navigate advanced terrain, including off-piste areas, while carrying camera equipment.
  • Flexibility and ability to pivot to new projects and desire to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
  • Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and capture high-quality photography and video for the website, social media, advertising, digital signage, events, campaigns, and other resort marketing needs.
  • Edit photography and video using Adobe Creative Cloud, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable professional editing tools.
  • Offload, back up, organize, catalog, and maintain digital files and shared media libraries.
  • Work with the Resort Marketing Manager and Communications Coordinator to identify timely stories, experiences, events, and operational moments to capture and share.
  • Support planned campaigns, seasonal storytelling, events, and special marketing projects.
  • Coordinate and escort visiting film crews, commercial photographers, media partners, and influencers to appropriate shooting locations around the resort.
  • Serve as the secondary snow reporter during the winter season, which may require being on-site as early as 5:30 a.m. two to three days per week, including weekends and holidays.
  • Capture resort conditions, mountain operations, guest experiences, and community moments in real time.
  • Maintain Homewood brand standards across visual content and marketing assets.
  • Other duties as assigned.
