Media Buyer

Rise CollectiveSt. Petersburg, FL

About The Position

The Scale Space is a marketing agency that runs full-funnel growth for clients: paid ads, automation, and strategy. This is a small, fast-moving team based in North Hollywood, CA, operating fully remote. The promise to clients is revenue, not traffic, clicks, or vanity metrics. The mission is to own paid media for the client book end to end. This includes building and running campaigns, writing ads, owning the tracking underneath them, and turning performance data into actionable decisions for the team and the client. The role requires someone who can not only report on performance changes but also explain the 'why' behind them, quantify the impact on client revenue, and implement specific solutions. The Media Buyer will manage approximately 8 to 10 brands across various industries including med spa, hospitality, real estate, and home services. The primary platform is Meta, with Google Ads growing, and some accounts utilizing broader platforms. The role involves participating in client meetings alongside the CEO and Customer Success Manager, serving as the technical expert for media buying inquiries.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience managing multiple ad accounts simultaneously, agency side preferred.
  • Deep, hands-on experience with Meta Ads.
  • Real working knowledge of Google Ads across Search and Performance Max.
  • Experience setting up and debugging tracking (pixel, CAPI, conversion events, UTM structure).
  • Ability to write ad copy and demonstrate successful past examples.
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and structuring messy data.
  • Ability to find the story within the numbers.
  • Experience accessing CRM data (lead and revenue) and tying it to ad performance.
  • Client-facing communication skills, able to discuss performance with business owners without jargon.
  • Daily use of AI tools for efficiency.
  • Sole full-time commitment required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Looker Studio, Supermetrics, or similar reporting tools.
  • Experience with GoHighLevel and HubSpot CRMs.

Responsibilities

  • Build, launch, and manage campaigns across Meta Ads and Google Ads.
  • Own audiences, offers, creative testing, budget pacing, learning phases, fatigue, and wasted spend.
  • Make decisions on what to scale, what to kill, and what to test next, without requiring permission for every budget change.
  • Monitor new launches closely through the first 72 hours.
  • Write ad copy, hooks, and angles for the campaigns.
  • Test copy against performance data, not opinion.
  • Provide insights from performance data to the creative team to inform future creative development.
  • Set up and maintain pixel and CAPI, conversion events, and UTM structure across accounts.
  • Debug attribution issues when platform and CRM numbers disagree.
  • Connect ad platforms to client CRMs (GoHighLevel / Scale CRM and HubSpot) to tie ad spend back to booked revenue.
  • Understand and work to close the gap between platform-reported conversions and actual revenue.
  • Own weekly and monthly performance reporting across accounts, pulling data from ad platforms and CRMs.
  • Build reports that illustrate where money is being made and lost, always concluding with a recommendation.
  • Participate in client calls to discuss performance, explain changes, and outline actions being taken.
  • Translate media buying concepts into plain language for business owners.
  • Advocate for data-backed decisions, even when they conflict with client requests.
  • Perform self-quality assurance checks on campaign setups and reports before they are finalized.
  • Document account and reporting processes to ensure knowledge sharing.
  • Use AI tools daily to increase efficiency.
