About The Position

Hidden Springs of McKinney is a luxury senior living community in McKinney, TX, offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care options. As the new operator, Franklin prides itself on a People First Culture and a focus on serving residents with excellence. Franklin has over 10 years of experience operating senior housing communities in Texas and is expanding its operations. We are looking for dedicated professionals, CNAs, and Medication Aides who want to be proud of their company, make a difference in the lives they serve, and enjoy an environment where employees are valued and appreciated. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current and valid Medication Aide/Technician Certification
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Successfully complete training as required and in accordance with state regulations
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with medications and the elderly population
  • Possess all required licenses and/or certifications if required by State licensing authority and maintain continuing education requirements
  • Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
  • Demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public
  • Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others
  • Meet all health requirements and pass background checks

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administering of medications to residents following company regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain proper care records.
  • Report any changes in residents’ conditions.
  • Interact with internal and external customers in a professional manner, ensuring that resident safety and satisfaction remain a priority.
