About The Position
The Med/Surg RN works in telemetry nursing, also referred to as progressive care nursing, focusing on monitoring cardiac patients. The role uses electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG) and telemedicine technology to identify potentially dangerous heart rhythms. Because cardiac patients are typically high-risk, the nurse must assess and respond to patient vital signs quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience.
- COVID-19 vaccination is required.
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- Comfort working with drips is required.
Nice To Haves
- Travel experience is highly preferred.
