About The Position

The Med Aide administers medications to residents and assists with other aspects of their daily care and routine. The role includes properly storing medications and equipment, keeping the medication room clean and orderly, accurately maintaining medication-distribution records, and ensuring prescription labels and storage procedures meet state standards. The Med Aide monitors residents’ health, safety, and well-being, promptly reports changes in physical condition or behavior to the Wellness Director, and assists with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating. Training is provided, and the employer is willing to train the right candidate.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.

One year of experience in a health care environment or equivalent is preferred.
