About The Position

As a Med Tech (Med Aide) with Inland Point, you administer medications and assist residents in ways that support their individual treatment plans. The role requires identifying, documenting, and communicating concerns with residents, families, physicians, and staff to help ensure residents are thriving. You contribute to customized service plans, coordinate with the clinical team, and help maintain a high quality of life for residents of Inland Point, an independent and assisted living community.

Requirements

Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applied to resident care.
Previous experience working with elderly people, specifically those with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia-related conditions.
Reliable transportation and dependability in arriving on time.
Compassion and flexibility to perform various duties.
An ownership attitude and ability to stay focused despite interruptions.
Effective communication with staff, residents, and their families.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Food Workers Card.
One year of experience.

Responsibilities

Contribute information to the development and implementation of customized service plans.
Administer treatment plans and chart medications in the Medication Administration Record.
Document results of PRN medications and record missed medications.
Answer and respond to family-member and physician calls or concerns as directed.
Support residents’ quality of life by maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
Work with the clinical team to address residents’ needs in a timely manner.
