Med Aide
About The Position
The Med Aide administers medications to residents and assists with other aspects of their daily care and routine. The role includes storing medications and equipment properly, keeping the medication room clean and orderly, maintaining accurate records of medication distribution, and ensuring prescription labels and storage procedures meet state standards. The Med Aide monitors residents’ health, safety, and well-being and promptly reports changes in physical condition or behavior to the Wellness Director. The position also assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and eating. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in a health care environment or equivalent is preferred.
