About The Position

Gutridge is a construction and service company providing Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Protection, and Electrical services to customers in the greater central Ohio marketplace. The Mechanical Project Manager is responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of projects, with a focus on commercial HVAC projects. The role involves coordinating project teams, managing project costs and schedules, maintaining quality and safety standards, and building strong client relationships.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or seven years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret a wide range of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and project management software.

Responsibilities

Manage commercial HVAC projects, including scheduling, budgeting, change orders, and cost control.
Oversee manpower planning to optimize productivity and maintain project timelines.
Ensure project profit margins are met or exceeded through effective oversight and problem-solving.
Lead project planning, coordination, and execution while maintaining clear communication with internal teams and clients.
Foster strong client relationships by providing responsive service and addressing concerns proactively.
Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment across all levels.
Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, encouraging professional growth and continuous improvement.
Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Adapt to shifting priorities and project demands with professionalism and composure.
