About The Position

Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance & Operations Technician I to support the park’s operations and help provide memorable experiences for guests. The position installs, repairs, and maintains air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, ventilation, and electrical systems and associated equipment. It also includes inspecting and testing equipment, testing water quality and adding appropriate chemicals and gases, maintaining electrical, plumbing, and sewerage operations, keeping basic work records, and providing technical assistance with heating and cooling equipment.

Requirements

Two years of experience in the maintenance or repair of HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, or electrical systems.
Formal training in one of the above or related fields may substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.
Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, ventilation, and electrical systems and associated equipment.
Inspect equipment and check its performance against specifications.
Perform checks and tests on mechanical equipment.
Test water quality and add appropriate amounts of chemicals and gases to water and operating equipment.
Repair and maintain electrical, plumbing, and sewerage operations.
Keep basic records of work activities.
Provide technical assistance in the maintenance and operation of heating and cooling equipment.
May be required to take care of emergency repairs twenty-four hours a day.
