Mechanical Lift Maintenance Technician II
About The Position
Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is seeking a passionate and skilled Mechanical Lift Maintenance Technician II to join their team. This role ensures the flawless operation of ski lifts, gondolas, and tram systems. The technician will collaborate directly with customers and mentor Level I technicians, using advanced diagnostic tools and technical expertise to tackle machinery challenges and uncover the root causes of malfunctions. In this role, the technician will dive into mechanical challenges, providing top-tier maintenance and repairs to ensure lift systems operate seamlessly. The role involves engaging with clients and guiding Level I technicians, offering solutions and fostering strong relationships through leadership. Additionally, the technician will document successes and communications in the task management system, while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and standard operating procedures. This is a full-time, hourly position.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED equivalent.
- At least 2-3 years of heavy mechanical repair experience.
- Demonstrated experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings & prints.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
- Ability to work in inclement weather in a mountainous environment at heights in excess of 20 feet.
- Authorized to work in the United States of America.
- Proficient in the English language.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in ski lift maintenance & repair.
- Advanced experience and/or certifications in welding.
- At least 2-3 years of previous NDT experience (MT/PT).
