About The Position

Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Lift Maintenance Technician I to join their service team. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of ski lifts, gondolas, and tram systems. The technician will work hands-on with customers, using technical expertise and diagnostic tools to address machinery challenges and identify the root causes of malfunctions. The position involves providing expert maintenance and repairs, working directly with clients, documenting work in a task management system, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and standard operating procedures. This is a full-time, hourly position with a pay range of $22.00-$26.00 per hour, depending on experience and certifications. Applications will be accepted until June 19th, 2026.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of heavy mechanical repair experience.
  • Demonstrated experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings & prints.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
  • Ability to work in inclement weather in a mountainous environment at heights in excess of 20 feet.
  • Authorized to work in the United States of America.
  • Proficient in the English language.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in ski lift maintenance & repair.
  • Advanced experience and/or certifications in welding.
  • At least 1 year of previous NDT experience (MT/PT).
