About The Position

We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter Rigging candidate with experience in large forklift (15K to 35K) and/or crane operation. Experience with chain hoists, shackles, and slings is also required. The role involves working with the shipping team and production crew to move parts according to business needs, reading blueprints, using hand tools and torque wrenches, troubleshooting, and documenting production quality requirements and performance gaps. The position requires the ability to consistently and safely lift 50+ lbs. Overtime may be required, and the plant is not climate-controlled.

Requirements

• Large Forklift (!) (15K to 35K) and/or Crane Experience.
• Very mechanically inclined candidates with Chain Hoists, Shackle, and Sling Experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to use hand tools and torque wrenches.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. consistently and safely.

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical Fitter or Tooling experience is a nice bonus.
• Mechanical Fitter with some Forklift experience.

• Work with the shipping team and production crew to ensure that parts are moved in accordance with business needs.

• Document/report all production quality requirements and any performance gaps.
