WED - New Grad Mechanical & Fire Protection Engineer I (For Current & Recent HNTB Interns Only)
About The Position
This opportunity entails assisting in the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, and specifications for assigned projects. The engineer performs research, development, calculations, design, and delivery in partnership with the project team, applying engineering techniques, procedures, and design criteria to projects of varying size and complexity. The role uses technical knowledge to assist with executing and evaluating project designs and developing conceptual and detailed designs and calculations using current drawing and technical tools, programs, and software. As a team member, the engineer contributes to successful project delivery for a diverse range of HNTB clients. This opportunity is exclusively for current or previous HNTB interns. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Must be a current or previous HNTB intern.
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned work within the schedule and number of hours provided.
- Support the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
- Assist in preparing project quantity and cost estimates.
- Assist engineering teams with organizing and administering design files.
- Support engineering teams with tasks including research, data collection, field investigations, development, and project design.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
