About The Position
This opportunity entails creating digital assets such as icons, photography, and stock graphics for proposals, presentations, public relations, and internal communications. The role coordinates the production of materials to create an image, communicate concepts, or deliver a message effectively. This position is for current or previous HNTB interns only.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Art, Graphic Design, or a related field, or two years of relevant experience in lieu of education.
- Fundamental proficiency in InDesign and other graphic design software, such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, with guidance from more senior staff.
- Proficiency converting large amounts of data or information into visual illustrations, with guidance from senior staff.
- Ability to creatively translate information by assessing problems and conveying visual solutions, with guidance from more experienced staff.
- Ability to develop basic PowerPoint or Keynote presentation templates, with guidance from senior staff.
- Understanding of basic typography, including line lengths, tracking, and leading, to maximize legibility.
- Must be a current or previous HNTB intern.

Responsibilities
- Create print and digital proposal materials, including templates, charts, maps, infographics, covers, and layouts.
- Create print and digital presentation materials, including PowerPoints, leave-behinds, and display boards.
- Create print and digital materials for public relations and internal communications, including brochures, ads, and announcements.
- Draft concepts for visually communicating key messages.
- File and organize digital assets such as icons, photography, and stock graphics.
- Assist in coordinating with print vendors and photographers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
