About The Position

This entry-level opportunity supports GIS data activities, including analysis, data conversion and migration, and map production. The role encompasses map production, geographic analysis, database development, system design, and project implementation. The position is exclusively for current or previous HNTB interns.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geography, Planning, or another related field; alternatively, four years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using ESRI, Intergraph, or Bentley software products.

Responsibilities

• Support GIS projects through map production, geographic analysis, database development, system design, and project implementation.
• Assist in developing GIS projects using ArcGIS or other designated GIS software to enhance existing and future projects.
• Create geographic maps using available datasets.
• Develop geographic databases, including their designs and models.
• Research emerging GIS technologies.
• Collect field data using prescribed technology, methodology, and specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
