Mechanical Field Service Technician

About The Position

The Mechanical Field Service Technician works in the Mechanical Division, installing, dismantling, moving, repairing, and maintaining machinery and various types of industrial equipment. Approximately 95% of the work is within a 100-mile radius of Lancaster County, so technicians are home with their families most evenings. The role involves traveling to job sites during the day, working as part of a team, and following safety rules and regulations. Occasional overnight travel may be required for 5% or less of projects. Pay is $25–$35 per hour.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in one or more of the following: welding, pipe fitting, rigging, skilled millwright work, or industrial duct installation.
Welding experience with stick or TIG is preferred.
Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds.
Ability to follow safety rules and regulations.
Comfortable traveling to job sites during the day.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
