About The Position

CCI Mechanical, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to oversee and execute the estimating process for mechanical project bids, following established procedures, methods, processes, and software requirements. The role develops detailed, accurate, and competitive estimates for mechanical HVAC and plumbing projects, and manages multiple estimates simultaneously. The position reports to the company’s office in Holt, Florida, and includes travel to project sites, which may require overnight stays. The estimator analyzes project plans and specifications, develops pricing models and general and special condition costs, assesses risks and mitigation strategies, and collaborates with engineers, project managers, suppliers, contractors, and operations staff. The successful candidate communicates effectively with senior management and works professionally in high-stress environments. The work takes place in a combination of office and outdoor project-site settings. Site work may involve walking and driving across rough or uneven ground, working outdoors in varied and sometimes extreme weather, and occasional exposure to wildlife, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and loud noise. The role requires use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse, and may require personal protective equipment. Employment is contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screening and having acceptable background-check results. Where applicable to a contract, the employee must obtain required clearances and access to military installations.
