Conducts performance and reliability testing on engines, components, systems, and controls. This role involves diagnosing issues, configuring and operating data acquisition systems, analyzing data, and writing computer programs for analysis. The technician will also perform builds, tear downs, and inspections of rigs, engines, and components, and create sketches for machining and fabricate necessary parts. They will install engines and instrumentation in test cells and rigs, and use common tools such as Calterm, Asset, and Cyflex. The position requires designing, documenting, and executing test plans, preparing test reports with findings and recommendations, and understanding company and department guidelines. Additionally, the role involves training apprentices and technicians, interfacing with customers and suppliers, coordinating programs, and participating in quality maintenance and improvement projects. The technician must comply with all safety policies and procedures and demonstrate confidentiality.
