About The Position

The Mechanical Engineer will design production hardware and test equipment, and perform design and analysis of electromechanical systems. The role works across all organizational levels to develop design requirements, selects and manages contract manufacturers for a variety of manufacturing processes, and works with PCBAs and electronics enclosures. The position is based in Hawthorne, California. Relocation is available. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents (Green Card holders) to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience with the full design cycle, from ideation to production.
• Design experience in NX or another CAD package.
• General knowledge of designing electrical enclosures.
• Knowledge of DFM and GD&T.
• U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency (Green Card) to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Gearbox design and fabrication experience.
• Strong understanding of electromechanical actuator design and analysis.
