About The Position

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking an entry-level mechanical engineer for its Energy Solutions office in Louisville, KY, and Fairfax and Richmond, VA offices. The Energy Solutions division is the fastest-growing part of the company. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, client-focused, and possesses the technical background to manage all project phases. While this role is within the performance contracting division, engineers with strong HVAC design and commissioning experience can transition into energy engineering. The entry-level engineer will work closely with and support the project manager.

Requirements

• Undergrad degree in engineering from an ABET accredited university
• Minimum GPA of 3.39
• Current work authorization in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available

Responsibilities

• Conduct building and system audits
• Conduct energy analysis and savings calculations
• Write reports on various aspects of the project
• Attend meetings with the Project Manager and clients
• Other duties as assigned
