About The Position

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking an entry-level mechanical engineer for its Energy Solutions offices in Louisville, KY and Fairfax, VA. The Energy Solutions division is the fastest-growing part of the company. This role requires a self-motivated individual with a technical background to be involved in and lead all phases of client projects. While this position is within the performance contracting division, engineers with strong HVAC design and commissioning backgrounds can transition into energy engineering. The entry-level engineer will work closely with and support the project manager.

Requirements

• Minimum 0-3 years of experience with an Energy Services company OR a consulting engineering/commissioning firm is preferred
• Undergraduate degree in engineering from an ABET accredited university
• Minimum GPA of 3.39
• Current work authorization in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available

Responsibilities

• Conduct building and system audits
• Conduct energy analysis and savings calculations
• Write reports on various aspects of the project
• Attend meetings with the Project Manager and clients
• Other duties as assigned
