About The Position

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking an entry-level mechanical engineer for its Energy Solutions office in Media, PA. This rapidly growing division focuses on performance contracting. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, client-focused, and possesses the technical background to manage all project phases. While the role is within the performance contracting division, engineers with strong HVAC design and commissioning experience can transition effectively into energy engineering. The entry-level engineer will work closely with and support the project manager in various tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum 0-3 years of experience with an Energy Services company OR a consulting engineering/commissioning firm is preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • Minimum GPA: 3.39
  • Current work authorization in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct building and system audits
  • Conduct energy analysis and savings calculations
  • Write reports on various aspects of the project
  • Attend meetings with the Project Manager and clients
  • Other duties as assigned
