About The Position

This is a 12-month co-op position beginning in January OR May of 2027. The primary responsibilities of this role are to design and test mechanical components and parts, design and development of mechanical fixtures for hardware testing, generate hardware test plans and protocols, analyze test results and compose test reports, troubleshoot problems during testing, assume ownership of specific test methods and sub-modules, and routinely provide readouts to the larger hardware team about the progress of their work.

Requirements

Enrollment in an Mechanical Engineering degree program
Completion of at least second year of a Bachelors degree
Classwork in statics, dynamics, physics, and statistics
Attention to detail, positive attitude, good work ethic
Ability to independently troubleshoot
Teamwork experience through coursework, lab work, and/or internship

Nice To Haves

Experience with CAD software, Matlab, Python
Experience with finite element analysis
Medical device classwork
