About The Position

The client is seeking a Mechanical Designer with experience in HVAC and plumbing projects. This is a contract-to-hire, long-term position located in New Brighton, MN, requiring on-site work. The role involves designing HVAC and plumbing systems, from roof replacements to new construction projects.

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of experience doing mechanical design on roof replacements to HVAC systems replacements to new construction.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing and piping layouts.
• Experience with sizing on equipment, ductwork and plumbing.
• Load calculations experience.
• Revit experience.
• Experience with shop drawing review.
• Able to visit job sites on occasion (local within Minnesota).

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC and plumbing projects.
• Perform design on roof replacements to HVAC systems replacements to new construction.
