About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with 5–8 years of experience to support mechanical design, tool development, CAD modeling, vendor coordination, and engineering project execution. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, UG NX, and CATIA, along with experience collaborating with cross-functional and offshore teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in mechanical design, tool design, or product development.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, UG NX, and CATIA.
• Experience in tooling, fixtures, jigs, and mechanical assemblies.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience collaborating with vendors and supporting design-to-manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements for improvement initiatives.
• Develop 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and detailed specifications using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, UG NX, and CATIA.
• Support prototyping, validation, and testing of designed tools, equipment, and engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with local vendors to manufacture designed components.
• Coordinate with local engineering teams to prioritize and execute small to large-scale engineering projects.
• Act as the primary liaison between client teams and offshore engineering resources.
• Provide weekly progress updates, documentation, and status reports.
• Ensure seamless communication to align design, manufacturing, and project milestones.
