About The Position

The Boeing Company’s Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a Mid-Level Mechanical Design and Analysis Engineer to join its Production Test team in Berkeley, Missouri. The position supports major Air Dominance programs in the St. Louis area, specifically production testing for Boeing Defense Systems fighter programs. The Production Test team delivers and supports special test equipment (STE), processes, and software used to verify the build of electrical, airframe, avionics, and optical subsystems, ensuring product quality and safe operation. Build verification ensures Boeing products are manufactured according to engineering design and meet intended functional requirements. The engineer designs and supports special test equipment for tactical aircraft production testing, performs mechanical design development and modifications, and helps maintain existing STE designs. The role includes collaborating with electrical and manufacturing engineers and fabricators, supporting manufacturing and assembly, addressing design issues, preparing documentation and usage instructions, and contributing to engineering release, configuration management, and process improvement. The position is in Berkeley, MO, and is identified as Shift 1. Relocation may be available based on candidate eligibility. Candidates must be able to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance and program access; an interim and/or final Secret clearance is required after starting. U.S. citizenship is required for the clearance, and the role must meet U.S. export control requirements. Boeing will not sponsor employment visas. The position is not contingent upon a program award and is not safety-sensitive.
