About The Position

This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your automotive repair and/or service writing experience in a remote, claims adjusting position. Say goodbye to long hours and embrace a stable, flexible 40-hour Monday-Friday work week, working 100% remotely from home. The position requires strong customer service skills, the ability to analyze information, negotiate effectively, make decisions, and document information quickly and accurately while typing at least 30 wpm. You will be working at a fast pace, handling phone calls from service advisors and/or customers, making decisions, and entering information into the claims application.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience as a service advisor, service manager, mechanic, and/or service technician.
  • Mechanical experience.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Ability to proactively solicit and analyze information.
  • Ability to effectively negotiate.
  • Comfortable making decisions.
  • Ability to document information quickly and accurately.
  • Typing at least 30 wpm.
  • Comfortable working at a fast pace.

Nice To Haves

  • Ideally at a franchised dealership.
