About The Position

Halliburton is hiring a Mechanical Assembler to perform assembly work in manufacturing. Under general supervision, the role involves assembling explosive products, small mechanical or electromechanical parts, equipment housings, or larger equipment such as engines, engine and PTO drive trains, gas compressors, control equipment, covers and cowlings, and related connecting lines. Assembly work may involve fitting, mounting, alignment, adjustment, and operational testing. The position also involves pump assembly and maintenance. Opportunities may be available at the Associate, Mechanical Assembler, or Senior Mechanical Assembler levels depending on education, experience, skills, and business needs. The position is based in Duncan, Oklahoma.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skills typically acquired through 1–2 years of related assembly experience.
• Power end or fluid end experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly operations associated with manufacturing explosive products, small mechanical or electromechanical parts, equipment housings, or large equipment.
• Assemble equipment such as engines, engine and PTO drive trains, gas compressors, control equipment, covers and cowlings, and related connecting lines.
• Perform assembly processes including fitting, mounting, alignment, adjustment, and operational testing.
• Perform pump assembly and maintenance.
