As a Mechanical Assembler, you'll play a key role in building high-quality mechanical and hydraulic equipment from the ground up. From interpreting blueprints to installing hydraulic systems and ensuring every component fits precisely, you'll help deliver products that are built safely, built correctly, and built to last. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical skill, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical assembly environment preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely use hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures.
  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Pride in producing quality workmanship.
  • Strong problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hydraulic systems and hydraulic hose fabrication.
  • Experience mounting tires to wheels.
  • Experience operating overhead cranes or lifting equipment.
  • Manufacturing or heavy equipment assembly experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, fit, and install prefabricated mechanical components into subassemblies and finished equipment.
  • Position, align, and adjust components to ensure proper fit, function, and assembly accuracy.
  • Connect hydraulic hoses, tubing, wiring, and mechanical components.
  • Secure assemblies using bolting, riveting, and other fastening methods.
  • Fabricate hydraulic hose assemblies.
  • Mount and install mechanical components according to engineering specifications.
  • Operate small cranes and lifting devices to safely position larger components.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Meet production schedules while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
  • Use computer systems to issue inventory and manage work orders.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and safe work practices.
  • Wear required PPE and comply with lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Work collaboratively with a skilled production team to complete projects efficiently.
  • Report unsafe conditions immediately and contribute to a culture of safety.
  • Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and production processes.
  • Support additional technical or production tasks as required.
