Mechanical Assembler III

Jabil•Prince George, VA

About The Position

The Mechanical Assembler III assembles, integrates, and validates complex mechanical and electromechanical systems used in large-scale cooling and infrastructure solutions. The role performs advanced assembly of large products and mechanical subassemblies, including frames, enclosures, copper tubing and piping systems, valves, fittings, hoses, fluid distribution components, and some electrical connections. Working in teams of 2–4 technicians, the assembler completes complex integrations, large assemblies, and final system builds in accordance with engineering specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards. The position requires the ability to independently interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation, verify dimensions, torque, alignment, and workmanship, and resolve assembly and integration challenges. The role also supports prototype, pilot, and new product introduction builds; maintains production records; collaborates with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Test teams; and contributes to continuous improvement and a clean, safe work environment.
