About The Position

Lime is hiring Mechanics to maintain its fleet of shared vehicles. The role suits mechanically inclined operations professionals looking to broaden their career experience. Mechanics work as a team to identify product improvements and ensure the fleet is in safe working condition. This is a contracted position employed and compensated by a third-party employer. Compensation and benefits, if any, are determined and provided solely by that employer of record.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to lift up to 65 lbs / 35 kg frequently.
Knowledge of cell phone applications.
Ability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Experience safely operating a pallet jack or push cart.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform quick, efficient repairs.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage daily tasks.
Safety-oriented mindset and ability to conduct rigorous quality checks.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

Ensure operational compliance of the fleet and complete quality checks before deployment.
Perform repairs ranging from basic maintenance to complex electronic part replacement.
Follow established safety procedures to ensure vehicles are safe for riders.
Manage battery operations, including inspection, rotation, and check-in/check-out.
Accurately document completed quality checks for vehicles and parts.
Support inventory management and organization of tools, parts, and vehicles.
Assist with tire maintenance, including changes, inflation, or assembly.
Maintain safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse.
Maximize the number of operational vehicles by efficiently completing assigned tasks.
Safely operate a pallet jack or push cart frequently.
Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.
