About The Position

The Mechanic Trainee assists with inspections, maintenance, and repairs of plant equipment and machinery. The trainee learns to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance while supporting senior mechanics in daily operations and emergency repairs. The role includes maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status and following all safety protocols to help maintain a safe work environment.

The position operates primarily in an environment with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels. Successful candidates must submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
