About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is hiring a Mechanic Trainee in its Aggregates line of business. The trainee assists with inspections, maintenance, and repairs of plant equipment and machinery while learning to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance. The role supports senior mechanics with daily operations and emergency repairs, maintains accurate maintenance and equipment-status records, and follows safety protocols. The position operates primarily around moving mechanical equipment and may involve inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels. Successful candidates must complete a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
