About The Position

The Mechanic Trainee assists with mechanical maintenance of plant equipment and develops maintenance skills while working with senior mechanics. The role includes routine inspections, basic troubleshooting, and supporting repairs using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. The trainee must follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.

The position operates primarily around moving mechanical equipment and may involve inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels. Physical tasks include lifting and bending. Employment is contingent on passing a post-offer physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check, and requires compliance with company policies and procedures.
