This is a working supervisory position responsible for performing complex mechanical maintenance and repair work, as well as providing day-to-day supervision and leadership within the Douglas County Fleet Services division. The position supervises an assigned team of mechanics and coordinates maintenance and repair activities for a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities include assigning and prioritizing work, monitoring preventive maintenance compliance, providing technical guidance and employee development, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting safe, efficient, and cost-effective shop operations. Generally, the hiring range is $76,350-$95,438 annually. Qualifications, education and experience as it relates to the position will be taken into consideration when determining hiring salary.
