The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered equipment, trucks, trailers, and heavy machinery to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, supporting fleet reliability, and maintaining compliance with company safety standards and DOT regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and hands-on experience with diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems, and preventive maintenance programs. This position requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.
