About The Position
The Mechanical Technician P 3 (Welder) performs welding processes on aluminum and steel parts and assemblies to required tolerances, using welding metals and metal alloys. The role determines layouts and welds parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications. It may also monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of additional education and/or related experience; alternatively, an apprentice graduate or associate's degree in a relevant discipline and 3 years of related experience.
- May require certification.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
