About The Position

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to Price Chopper customers. The Meat Wrapper properly wraps, weighs, and labels meat products according to company policies and procedures; maintains accurate display and rotation of products in the case; and ensures product levels support sales. The role also requires maintaining a clean, organized workstation and providing courteous customer service.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service, including smiling, making eye contact, and thanking customers.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
• Follow proper wrapping and weighing procedures for meat department products.
• Follow meat department merchandising procedures, including case layout, pricing, and coding.
• Display and rotate meat department products properly.
• Adhere to corporate and state sanitation policies and procedures for the meat department.
• Control shrink by following related policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties assigned by management and comply with company policies and procedures.
