About The Position

Lacombe Food Store presents the perfect opportunity for you! We're seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our dynamic team. This is a casual position, meaning less than 24 hours per week, with availability required on weekdays and weekends, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Requirements

Outstanding customer service and communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team player with the ability to work independently
Correct handling of knives and proficient utilization of other cutting tools
Capable of working in a cold/refrigerated environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
Applicants must be over 14 years old.

Nice To Haves

Experience with food preparation is an asset; training is available

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service and answer customer questions
Skillfully slicing, trimming, and preparing a variety of meat selections and cuts, then carefully wrapping and packaging each with utmost precision.
Manage time efficiently to complete all special orders
Order, receive, and display merchandise
Practice safe food handling procedures and wear appropriate attire
Perform general housekeeping duties, following proper sanitation procedures and maintaining housekeeping logs
Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
